Petitfee Oil Blossom Lip Mask – Sea Buckthorn Oil Review

IMG_8522

Being a girl who lives only on eyebrows, concealer and lip tint as my everyday makeup – my lips can get chappy and dry most of the time. I have an arsenal of lip balms and lip oils, but at night i like to use a lip mask for best results. I’ve tried the Aritaum Ginger Sugar lip mask before and i liked it, but the only thing i hated was that it was really sticky but gave me moisturized lips. So when Jolse had a black friday sale, i was looking at this and decided to purchase it!

PACKAGING

It comes in a very classy and sturdy cardboard box, with the ingredient list in english.

The jar itself is probably the most classiest packaging i’ve seen for a lip mask. It looks kind of like an eye cream jar instead. It has a metal screw lid and the glass jar is slightly heavy.

PRODUCT

A good thing about the product is it has a plastic lid to separate the product from air even if you forgot to screw the lid back on. The product is pastel yellow in color and in a balm texture.

It also comes with a cute small spatula so you don’t have to use your lips! I love spatulas!

You can see that it easy easy to pick up the product as it melts almost instantly. The product leaves a nice sheen, slightly oily but more glossy on the skin. It also has a faint sweet fragrance.

I tried this on my bare lips and i instantly fell in love with it! It wasn’t sticky at all, and didn’t leave a strange thick texture on my lips. The product melted nicely and evenly on my lips, instantly moisturizing them. I felt it did a fairly good job on moisturizing my lips, though i do think that there are other more heavy-duty lip masks out there to compare. I liked it and would most definitely continue using it, but it might be moisturizing enough for those with more severe dry chapped lips.

Pros:

  • Classy packaging
  • Affordable price at less than USD10
  • Comes with a spatula
  • Moisturizing
  • Not sticky

Cons:

  • May not be moisturizing enough for some

In a nutshell,

I find this a good product to use for my dry lips at night before sleep. It does do its job of moisturizing and leaves a nice glossy sheen. However, it may be not enough for me sometimes when i prefer a heavy duty lip mask at night. Though I would still recommend this to most people if you’re looking for a good, affordable lip mask!
